this is not the question to so... (#1)

only question is "when".

My 2 cents and prediction: VR´s are sent until end of Q1/2009

Bob to this is not the question (#2)

To the original poster: is your posting in response to an actual announcement?

Granpa D to Jon SA (#4)

Not to panic, the Partners have been asked to name the practioners they wish to cull. So nothing you can do now. A letter will be sent to the unfortunate/fortunate soon.

The package is very very generous.

140 in total? hardly worth it with over 12,000 people is it? Limited to tax or across firm?

Revo to Granpa D (#5)

Does anyone have any detail on the packages offered by Deloitte to the VR's?

Salary to so... (#1)

In Australia, Deloitte is not cutting any toes as it claimed in the newspaper, and in fact they publicly announced that they are scouting for those whose toes were/are cut at the other Big 3.

fgh to .... (#10)

I very much doubt that Deloitte is paying laid-off Analysts a full year of salary and laid-off Managers five years of salary to go away. They wouldn't pay even that much for CR.

fgh is a tube to fgh (#13)

No-one has said they were. The range is more like 6-12 and it's fair to assume that most people will be at the lower end, and in particular those at lower grades.

Voluntary will pay more than compulsory, in any case.

There have not been any compulsory redundancies.

Didn't mean 26 weeks pay per year of service. An ex-colleague (he took it) was offered 26 weeks pay to go - he's been there 2 years.
