BTO in McKinsey and analogs

#1 BTO in McKinsey and analogs

Dan

1. What is the reputation of McKinsey's Business Tech Office (BTO) among management consultants with other specializations?

2. Are exit opportunitites after McK BTO the same as after McK in general?

3. Do other top tier firms have analogs to McK's BTO? E.g. BCG, Bain.

m k to Dan (#1)

Reputation is good and you rarely put Mck BTO on your cv.

Exit options are good though depending on YOU as a person, role your are moving to and market forces.

BCG and Booz compete in this area with them and occasionally the other firms such as acn, big4 and smaller firms get some ops level work.
