Accenture position and pay

#1 Accenture position and pay

Jon

Hi all - great to see so many out there willing to lend a helping hand! I have a graduate and postgraduate degree from top UK universities and 5.5 years professional IT experience, the last 4 spent in a top investment bank. I am currently a junior IT project manager. Given I am in the end stages of the Accenture recruitment process, could anyone give me an indication of what position this might translate to in Acc, and with what kind of base salary? A wide range of estimates, from various sources, have left me slightly confused...

I also went to Accenture after 4.5 years in a top American investment bank (first class degree etc). I went in as a C3, with a guarantee of a promotion to M1 the following year and had to take a slight pay cut - but this was back in 1999. The biggest difference was the lack of responsibility when I got there. It doesn't compare with working at a bank, so I've made the move back (after 2.5 years at Accenture)
