Any one know the salary range for a Director at PwC and how much does it vary dependent on where you are?

e.g. HR consutling or biz consulting?

I'm sure someone does somewhere but I'm not sure why they would bother sharing with you. If you're at Director level (which frankly is doubtful) then don't understand why you're confused about what to go into. And if you're just fishing then find a better hook.

it defeats the purpose of having a forum if genuine, valid questions are met with rude and dismissive remarks

Look on glassdoor.com for salaries but I very much doubt there is any difference between the pay in different teams. At Director level, your pay is driven by individual performance, sales, prior salary, etc.

Not sure about PWC, but at KPMG if you make it from Senior Manager to Director you're pretty much a dead cert to make it to partner, as this is the stage at which a lot of the vetting takes place.

So for most people at this level salary (100-200k) isn't an issue, because they're looking at the bigger picture - after 2-3 years they'll be on a partner's salary.
