Q

For people who leave (tech) consulting due to family commitments, what sort of 9-5 jobs is it feasible to move into? (Please don't start a tech consulting slag-fest..)

???? to anon (#4)

How about a bit more detail on your specialty, seniority etc., experiences - especially man- line-management which don't always apply in consulting.

Info on all the above will help get a better response / more appropriate suggested career options.

Q to ???? (#5)

Apologies for lack of detail - I'll be starting a grad program later this year but through a fairly circuitous route - hence old and starting to wonder if there's any point getting into consulting at all if the exit options are gloomy.
