Becomming an IT Consultant with non IT background

Rupert Paul

Hello

I studied an arts degree at university and I've been working as a financial analyst for 2 years

As I do not have a computer science degree related degree what would be the best way for me to enter the IT profession / become an IT Consultant?

Also, what career paths within IT would be very difficult for me to enter into with my background and which ones would be easier.

Thanks for any help.

Join Deloitte TI at M1 level. Where did you get your financial analyst experience.

I got my finance experience from a graduate programme at BT.

Are you suggesting joining Deloitte's Tech In scheme?

Are there any things i could learn that could make me more appealing to employers

More to the point, what is your motivation to become an IT charlatan?

I want a career path that offers stable employment and a decent salary. Those are my main reasons. Any idea how I can enter IT to get this?
