Gary

As a 20 yr veteran within the Food & Bev industry from the bottom up and in many positions, does experience qualify me as consultant within the industry?I have many years in top leadership and management schooling through former employer, quality control, customer service, human relations, food quality, and operations included. I would love to assist, and be employed in the field and bring knowledge and bottom-line advice in an effort to utilize skills besides just be an "operator", where my opinion counts maximizing profits and increasing sales, where do I start, or better yet, anyone have any advise on this ?

From what I understand major firms will consider applications from specialists in a field and their excellent training programmes will fill in any gaps as regards your knowledge of the practice of consulting per se.

For more concrete advice, talk to one of the recruitment consultants at Huntswood, Norman Broadbent or Prism recruitment agencies.

Good luck!
