CGT - Any accountants around?

#1 CGT - Any accountants around?

OP

Does anyone know about Capital Gains Tax here?

If a house which was previously someone’s second home is signed over to me (for a nominal fee by a solicitor), I think I have to live in it for 2 years before I can sell it and not pay any CGT due to it being my primary residence. Correct?

What are the tax implications if I were to sell it after 18 months?
