Time to offshore the management

#1 Time to offshore the management

Taxman

“Mumbai, Dubai, Shanghai - or goodbye”. Seems to be all the rage here, now we have lots of managers and ermm... no actual UK staff.

Happy Days, will update you once I land...

That shouldn't be so difficult to work out. What were you expecting? Manage teams through telcos until the rest of your career? Only sales/business development staff can justify their position locally...if you want to get a glance on what is to come, just read FTs article on the E&Y initiative to create a single operating unit of 87 countries...

Daft – you end up destroying home markets by doing this. All business/commerce relies on retail sales ultimately. Outsource all the jobs, nobody in the home country has any income. No demand for retails products/services and all the upstream suppliers suffer to.

Obvious. Obvious. Obvious.

Peter - agreed. However, here we are talking about a b2b environment...

Hi Taxman, that sucks. Is it for an extended period or just a one-off business trip?
