Hi. I am going to graduate with a Bachelors in Technology (BTech) degree from The University of Auckland, New Zealand. I am keen on working for a Management Consulting firm, here in NZ, Australia or anywhere else. Can someone give me some advice on which firms to target, so as to get good multinational experience. I plan to apply to as many firms as possible. Ideally, I'd like to get into IT/Business Strategy. Cheers.

There are a few names that stand out in the Asia/Pacific area of the world. I am in Australia so I will describe the situation here. It might be different where you are in NZ.

Firstly, the best consulting firm with your background would be Accenture. They target the kind of things that you are interested in.

The next best is to get into a small niche consultancy firm that specialises in management consultancy.

My last piece of advice is to stay out of IT for the time being, to much competition.
