I have about 9 years epxerience since graduation mainly in project management and have spent half my time in industry and half my time in consulting- if i am applying to a consultancy what salary should I be aiming for with this experience and grade
also if i was to stay in industry what salary should i be on at this stage approximately?

I would be concerned with some consultancies capital structure. Whilst most have adopted fairly rigid equity positions, capital scarcity and volatility may hamper financial austerity thus excerbating the economic spiral

All the feedback I'm getting is that the latest pay round / bonus round has seen modest pay rises, so you might expect the salary figures to be a few % higher but no more than that. There haven't as yet been any cases of pay cuts being forced through though - so I'd say the report remains a very good benchmarking tool for anyone jobhunting in 2008.
