Research on Consulting Methods and Training/Induction

CONSULTING METHODS AND TRAINING/INDUCTION

- RESEARCH ON BEST PRACTICE

Based at the Business School, Imperial College London, I am researching the development of management consultancy practice with a particular focus on the induction of consultants to consulting methods.

I am currently seeking participants for my fieldwork and would very much like to speak with individuals who are involved either in the development of basic consulting methods or the induction of new consultants to them.

The benefits of participation would include access to research findings from a number of firms (anonymised) and additional outputs on best practice as well as the opportunity to reflect on and develop existing approaches to induction and methods. The research is non-commercial and forms part of a PhD project, linked to other research on consultancy at Imperial College. All information will be treated in strict confidence.

I recently received my Master's Degree in Information Science

from Indiana University (USA). In addition to courses in management of information environments I studied system

analysis and design. I'm looking for an entry-level position
