Salaries tend to reflect market conditions and demand profile and personal capability. At the moment due to continued efforts at evaluating and optimising business strategy and core competencies, it is difficult to say how the renumerative packages are structured. Notwithstanding the turmoil in the financial markets and the concomitant constraction in capital scarcity, it this the department is robust and have proven capabilities within the area of delivery, strategy formulation and execution
Hope this helps

Next to no travel, mainly office based in a village near Cambridge.
Bonus variable - excellent to nothing - in line with the practice's results.
You want to get a joining bonus. Salary will depend on grade and experience, expect PA to be 5-10% lower than the market rate.

thanks ZB and AP for your insight.
AP, is the PA wireless's DSP work like consulting or a typical Engineering job, but PA terms it as consultancy?
AP, if you can be a bit specific. Is PA 5%-10% less than Engineering or consulting sector salaries?
Thanks

Pay? Other consultancies.
Work? Depends. You can probably do the engineering only if you want, but its the people and consultancy skills (with the engineering as a given) that is really needed.

"No technical staff on this thread?"
Are you suggesting people on this site are non-technical and with a skill base of PowerPoint plus Prince 2 only?

Thanks AP.
I meant people doing technology consulting (DSP, software, etc). I am sure a lot of people doing PP and Prince have a BA or even an MA in Eng!
