Hi - Currently in a big 4 accountancy corp finance I find it depressing the 95% of time at a laptop and 5% actually interacting with other people - I was wondering how much human interaction you find you have in consultancy jobs? Is this one of the more rewarding and enjoyable aspects?

Much more than that (doing market entry consulting), and yes, it is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable aspects of the job. Which is not to say there isn't a lot of time spent behind a laptop as well, but certainly not 95%.
