It's not a rumour at all - the shareholders forced change at the top a week ago. A new head of the business is now being appointed. See Reuters:

Not sure I see why this should make it a bad time to join them though - if a new CEO improves the fortunes of the business then that's good news for bonuses, quality of assignments and retention.
