Moving into consultancy after MBA

I am completing my MBA at Bath university and want to move into consultancy - strategy or change.

It seems the market is a bit more difficult for those of us who dont have previous consulting experience. I was working in a wireless internet startup before the MBA.

Do you have any ideas, tips, headhunter contacts?

Ofcource MBA is prerequisite to get in consulting. Since u have experience u can show u r exp. more on management side and less of technical. also u can move ahead in same field of wireless internet consulting and then within a year diversify in management consulting. try joining...Accenture or IBM.......coz these companies are in both technical consulting and management coonsulting atleast in India...

An MBA is worthless without experience. I would suggest initially looking at working directly for a large company that has an Internal Strategy Group (in sectors such as Banking), this will give you practical real world experience that should but you ahead of the others exiting tertiary studies.
