Blunt to hmm (#2)

Went for an interview a few years ago (about 5, I think), laughed my head off after listening to this high level toff ramble on about how much he knew and what service they provide. After he finished he asked whether I had any questions, and oh boy did I.. Let's put it this way, I belittled this person in his knowledge of SE. He was glad to end the interview.

I was invited in again (about 2 years ago), hoping they had learnt much. Nope. They did not. Had two interviewers, one oldish chap who was quite but precise; the other was young, loud, full of (sh!t) himself. Again, listened and then turned to questioning them. The youngster tried to blag it, but failed badly. The older guy felt embarrassed because this youngster was digging a very deep hole.

Go figure.

I'm surprised, I thought PA were good. Any other feedback.

PA-C to anon (again) (#4)

There isn't an SE practice per se. The SEs end up in either the Project Management, Defence or Manufacturing practice.

Not being an SE myself I can't comment on the quality of individuals. I know that they do a lot of work in the West Country and have won awards for it.
