Hagrid

Hello everybody.

I am looking to move to consultancy after 7 yrs experience both in manufacturing and service sector working in Procurement.

I have had already 2 interviews Atos who wants me to go to the second and final and KPMG (still waiting feedback) and waiting from Mck to confirm the date for the 1st interview.

I have an MBA but not from a top business school.

BCG and BAH have replied declining my application and I am still waiting from ATK and Bain.

What would you suggest the best move would be for me?

I like working in Procurement and Supply Chain but I would also like to expand my skills in strategy and marketing.

What do you think would be the starting salary for someone in a similar position and background?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mover to Hagrid (#1)

I moved from industry to consulting a few years ago. Not worked for Atos so cannot comment. However I did work for Capgemini. They have a good Supply Chain practice and I found the culture good and the people helpful to a content rich new boy who was not versed in the dark arts of consultancy. May be worth giving them a go.
