accenture and second try

#1 accenture and second try

R.

Hi.I was wondering if someone can help me. I had two rounds of interviews with Accenture and unfortunately did not get the job. I am gutted because I am convinced that I have what is required and think I can do job very well. I am now thinking of taking 6 months off and reapplying. What are my chances? Do you get another chance if you are rejected? Anyone? R.

Did they tell you any reason? If you are so confident what did you do wrong?

I'm in Accenture myself, and to my knowledge, if you didn't get it the first time, unless your circumstances have changed (eg, work experience, further studies, etc.), the outcome is probably not going to change much, as we do keep a record of rejection and tends to filter those out. However, it's worthwhile calling up to ask why you are rejected. It could possibly be a mistake. After all, recruitment processes a fair bit of application and mistakes do happen.

I left Accenture a few months back and used to be involved in the recruitment side of things. If you reapply after 12 months then you can be reconsidered. it is probably bettre for you to not mention at that stage that you had already applied. bear in mind that thousands of applications are received and it is very unlikely that you would show up as a previous applicant. in thoses 12 months try to get some relevant experience (prefferebly IT based) that will help you. Good luck!!

I had behavioral interview with Accenture after 2 technical interviews. I havent heard anything back from them yet.

What will be the next step? Is their anything else that I can do to improve the chances?

Thanks

accenture_are_parasites

Accenture are a load of weirdos - I know an ex Partner there and he's nutty. All very large egos and sneering! Plus my Cambridge postgrade business degree wasn't good enough - as I had "only" got a first from somewhere they hadnt heard of before.

thanks a lot to all of you. it is quite frustrating as I am pretty certain I do have what is needed. I got the feedback yesterday and I am not sure I completely agree with what they said the reasons were. I may try and reply after 12 months.thanks again. R
