Hi - I just received my Ph.D. in OBT and my dissertation was on Knowledge Management in a Public Sector Virtual Organization. I have Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology and Government Administration. I have lots of experience in all levels (currently a Deputy Health Commissioner) and many areas of management. I am looking to change my career to OD consulting preferably in the Knowledge Management area. I have researched firms, but I just don't know how to make that first contact. I want to work for a medium to large size firm - How do I break into the field? Any advice on resumes, coverletters, etc. strategies would be wonderful. I know I can do it - but how do I get started?
