you probably don't want to be working for them in the first place.

I know I used to work for them!!!

If you have made it to the Partner interview , then it is a very good sign. Just keep doing what you have been doing up until now. Normally, its just a chat at this point - he may ask you about previous projects if you have experience, but to be honest, I don't think he/she will throw anything at you that you haven't been asked already. Just make sure you come across as professional, yet friendly and approachable. Good luck!

Bobbi,

In this economic climate you are lucky to get an interview - your resume must be well written. You should, in all three interviews, be honest about yourself and your experience, and focus on what they need/the priorities of the role and how YOU could deliver quickly, efficiently and add value to the group or department. As for salary, you should check it out on Salary.com - where you will be able to get a figure based on location etc. Good luck. Carol

The partner interview is there to cross-check all the info you have provided so far so it would be a good idea to de-brief yourself.

At your level, you would be an experienced hire entering at C2-C3 and salary would be based on your leaving package at the last firm but you should expect 40-50k plus benefits.

The interview is likely to involve a case study thrown at you on the day. You should check with HR whether this is still the process. You get 10-15 mins to think thro the case study and then have to discsuss your rationale & solutions with the partner. I believe they are looking to test your thinking style & breadth of approach. The case study is likely to be in an unfamiliar area so you rae not expected to have sector depth. If all else fails, try the 'strategy, process people, systems' mantra

I only have one thing to say. If it is ATS that you are working for.... don't expect any pay. Think of it as pro bono work. ATS are probably the place that pays IT people the worst! This is by no means an exageration. How about I quote you this... the rate of people leaving ATS within 6 months, who are of experienced hire is 50%.
