A Bank of America contact recently told me that an official communication has come down from Bank of America headquarters that the bank is severing its relationship with Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting). Basically, all Accenture engagements should be cancelled and no new contracts should be signed. This is due to the fact that the Accenture did not IPO with Bank of America. Bank of America's apparent feeling on the matter are: "If anyone is not doing business with the Bank, the Bank will not being doing business with them."
