Wanted - Career Change Advice

I have just completed a one-year full-time MBA so that I can move industry in to Management Consultancy.

Previously I co-founded a niche market research agency which specialised in medical technology.

Does anyone have any insight in to what sort of problems I will face, trying to move in to the industry mid-career?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

it depends a little on what you did before. There is some reluctance to "take a risk" on those who have worked for themselves and lack "corporate" experience. If you have a strong brand name onthe CV from previously, this might be more viable. They may like the initiative you took and such but may also worry about your ability to conform/uphold their company values etc.. Not my opinion, but this may be a hurdle you face.
