Hi, I have an interview actually solving problem test tomorrow, and am in the panic because I don't know exactly what to expect. I was on web as advised but there are only 3 general examples.

Do you have any previous experience/ advice to give ? Thank you?

That book is your best bet...I interviewed for an undergrad position years ago (prior to B-School), and it should be more of a look at how you attack problems (numbers, decision techniques, and a systems-type approach). You will likely make educated guesses that (w/o a calculator) should have sound structure with some accuracy (if the numbers are way off you might not do so well, but just keep them close). Like I said, that was for an analyst/undergrad position, and recruiting and interviews may have changed drastically as they want to keep the environment changing to keep you on your toes (i.e. no fun if you get the same interivew that the guy did last year...right). Good luck, M

Hi I don't think it's necessary any book to prepare an interview with a Consultant company or any other. What they are looking for it's a person who never stop working and always try to do the best. Remember that a consultat works often till midnight :)

So, try to look nice, relax and be fast...

Hello: This may have been mentioned in previous replies, however, Top-Consultant has a case method preparation manual available as well regarding this most dreaded of "tests" for new and emerging consultants. Another souce is Vault.com's Case Interview book available through that same website: www.vault.com. Good luck!
