Hi there. I've recently decided to change firms and have secured a first round interview with AT Kearney in London - does anyone have any information about the nature of the interviews and / or case studies? Any info welcome. Cheers.

Mick,

My first round at the London office consisted of 2 back-to-back interviews, the first of which was the case & the second a 'fit' interview. The case was quite hard and as it was the first case I've done in an interview I probably should have watched the time more carefully & the hints of the interviewer. She did help me out quite a bit, and once I relaxed things went much better.

The 'fit' interview was with a manager and was tough but fair - it's obvious these are very bright people who do take a genuine interest in recruiting the right candidate. Expect some of the 'usual' questions eg why consulting and why specifically AT Kearney.

You may be in for quite a wait for your result - also I know they currently have a head-count freeze in their London office so that makes the competition even tougher!

Good luck!

Richard.

Rich, that's very useful information - thanks a lot for your help. Interesting to hear that they have a head-count freeze too; I suppose that'll make the interview even more interesting than usual! Cheers once again
