SAMARJIT MAITY

Hi All,

Myself working for Capgemini-India as a SAP-CRM technical resource.I have long been fascinated by consulting career. I am a B.Tech in electronics & communication engg. & have a job experience of 1.2 yrs.

My question to senior experts in this community is for entering in full-fledged consulting career is a MBA mandatory?/

if it is mandatory then after how much job experience i should go for a MBA.

please advice.

Hello Samarjit,

if I would be you I would make sure to have around 3-4 years of experience in your technical domain and then move to Project Management. After a couple of years of Project Management, dependning on your inclinations you could move to a more client facing role and be part of a competency based sales team.
