Forget it.
For every really good job these days there are 300 applicants minimum and at least 10% if not more will be an exact match with the "right" first class degree.
Nearly 60% of degrees are now 1sts or 2:1s. They reckon by 2018, this will rise to 100% on current increases in this level of pass rate!
I would focus on getting into a forward looking company that is running projects and programmes and where you can participate in the delivery of these thus having the benefit of, hopefully, long term employment with a consultant type role and where you can look back at the real difference you have made to a business rather than the transient nature of consultancy.
