MBA with SAP experience

#1 MBA with SAP experience

Mark

I recently completed all the requirements for the MBA through Edinburgh Business School. I have been working a a SAP consultant for the last 6 years primarily in the production planning and quality management areas in the pharmaceutical industry. I would now like to move into a Strategy Consulting role in order to put my newly-aquired knowledge into practise. I would appreciate any tips and advice anybody may have for making this transition.

Ilan, unfortunatley the SAP market has matured somewhat over the past few years to the point that putting yourself through the SAP Academy does not guarantee you a job. If you are willing to take this leap (these courses are very expensive) I would suggest you enrol for the new generation modules such as CRM, then comes the challenge of trying to get into a SAP consultancy.

Regards

MArk

What

I agree 100% with Mark. The money can be put to better use. Did you know that London Cabbies earn just as much as 40K+ ? ( it is a 4 year course "The Knowledge")

...This is also about the salary of bus drivers in Luxembourg.

I've been to the Siebel & SAP Centres. There are even modules for modules !...and for every sector. Somebody is making alot of money somewhere down the chain.

If you have an MBA, at least it's a personal/Sector-flexible achievement. Still no gaurantees though !

I think that was cleared up by a business consultant on this forum.
