Anybody on this board consult for Salesforce.com? If so can you please tell me:

- Whether it's a good place to work at the moment

- Whether remuneration is competitive

- Whether projects are mostly small "firefighting" engagements or whether main focus is around a few large clients

- Whether there are good career opportunities within the organisation?

Thanks in advance

- to tc (#1)

I attended an interview at salesforce.com a couple of months back. My views as follows:

- Very small in the UK but growing, still operating out of a serviced office in Camberley.

- People in the UK appeared to be genuinely excited about the future, they really feel that they will progress past CRM and offer more general "on-demand" solutions

- Most of the technical consulting work appeared to be quite simple in nature and not particularly challenging.

I decided to drop out of the application process after the first interview as I really want something more technically challenging but that was just my point of view.

Joining Salesforce.com would be a gamble, they may never really progress past CRM but conversely it could pay off
