Just sharing my plan with you people. I would welcome comments / criticisms with regards to it.
After 2ish years in Big 4 Consulting (M&A) I am planning to move to Deloitte S&O, Operations Excellence to get a different viewpoint of Management Consultancy. The target is to get the Six Sigma Green Belt.
Also I was hoping I could take part in some projects on the Strategy Side - preferably Business Strategy. Is it easy to jump from an Ops Excellence project to Strategy and back again? Do they really work together?
(Im also hoping they wont stuff my into the M&A Strategy dept straight away)
Any other faults you might see here? Is this plan 'do-able'?
I would like to emphasise that this move would be to keep learning about Management Consultancy and broaden my knowledge about how companies work.
