Can you give me a list of PUBLIC SECTOR Mgt Consultancies?

I'd like to know all of them to make a balanced judgement, before I start to apply. Any lists welcome!! Thx

Most firms have some form of public sector practice.

Largely depends on where your skillset is and where in the market you want to focus, and indeed why you want to focus on the public sector at all.

I'm assuming that you're not already in the industry which would mean you're looking at a grad entry presumably. Useful if you could clarify.

Hedra are one of the few 'Public Sector' consultancies, they are pretty good and have a string brand in that industry.

Also Deloitte, Dettica, Avail, and E&J BAS have a name in this space. Serco do a lot of public contract management (but not a lot of consulting).

For a list, have a look at Catalist, the Government Procurement Framework for buying Professional Services. This should be available from the OGC website. This will show you who the government view as public sector consultancies - though this might not count for much ;-)

Catalist is just an easy route for contracting, it is possible to contract outside it. But I'd agree that those with enabling contracts are probably the ones to target.
