Experienced Hire (with MBA) salaries

#1 Experienced Hire (with MBA) salaries

Trish

Hi - I'm going to complete my MBA in the summer and I have over 10+ years broad experience in the Pharma industry. Can someone give me an idea of what base salary range I should be looking at please, at one of the big 4? (To specifically join their Pharma practices). Thanks

Outside the Strat houses, there's rarely a premium paid for MBAs. Your salary will very much depend on what level you enter consulting, which in turn will be related to the sort of experience you had before joining consultancy.

In my organisation, someone of your profile would likely come in as a manager or senior manager, depending on how rounded your consulting skill set was and how sales-focused you were. The salaries for those bands range from £55-60k at the bottom end to £110-120k at the top end.

So. in short: it varies by candidate and individual experience.
