I have been in the consulting industry for seven years and have recently moved towards working within the field of personal and business coaching.
One of my target client groups is to coach with consultants in the area of supporting them to recognise how a coaching based approach and embedding a coaching culture with clients can be used:
1. to improve performance (and therefore bottom line)
2. as an effective management tool, in terms of client development
3. in motivating and engaging employees
4. in developing/putting in place high performing teams
5. to support the change process
The return on investment and value added from using coaching for the above has been demonstrated in the past few years. Organisations are now beginning to recognise how a coaching approach can positively
contribute to effective organisational change and development, reduced
staff turnover and increased morale, and increased profitability.
