I worked for 5 years for a consultancy company that no longer exists in Europe or the USA. My role was to support the project team tactically - getting the necessary behaviour change through training and coaching of the executive and management teams. My role also helped to sell the project to clients and was often the part of the project that gained more work. To do this I needed a thorough understanding of the area development systems and processes used by the consultants themselves and I would often take the part of an engineer to better understand the concepts I needed to train. It was a role I enjoyed but it seems as though it was a one off - are there any consulting companies out there that need management/senior management trainers? When and where do they advertise?
