Tony Restell (Top-Consultant)

I must admit I am not aware of any consulting firm that would consider a "consulting degree" a great asset when recruiting. If anyone knows any different please email me on tony_restell@top-consultant.com. The firms always look favourably on degrees from the top schools (Cambridge, Grande Ecole, etc) and / or an MBA from a top school (INSEAD, Harvard, etc). I would be inclined to advise you invest your time in getting this type of qualification.

Rgds, Tony Restell

Eric

The Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) in Canada offers a Management Consulting stream for the entire first semester of the MBA second year. Ivey is Canada's most prestigious business school and uses a 100% Case Method curriculum like Harvard.

I did the stream when I graduated there in 1997. It was heavily supported by the Toronto practices of BCG, AT Kearney, Mercer, Bain, Deloitte, etc. who have a lot of alumni from Ivey. They would take turns coming in to give workshops to the class on a regular basis.
