Year 2003 (the unknown..)

#1 Year 2003 (the unknown..)

Ignacio

Hello! I work as a marketing consultant in Spain Europe. After 5 years I would like to jump into strategy but everybody is talking about year 2004.

Where is the 2003 ? It seems like nobody wants to talk about it...

:)

Best regards from Madrid.

#2 recruitment is accelerating

Ignacio - recruitment has been picking up in recent weeks and this is expected to continue and accelerate in 2003. However, there are only pockets of recruitment in those sectors / functions that are currently experiencing high demand. Strategy consulting has been the hardest hit area of consulting - and firms specialising in this area still have a considerable degree of underutilisation of their existing consulting staff. So whilst 2003 should be much more buoyant for securing a consulting job, strategy roles are likely to still be few and far between...
