Dr Sola Adesola

Hi, I am Dr Sola Adesola, currently a Research Officer in 'Human Performance Modelling' at Cranfield University. I recently completetd a PhD at Cranfield University. Apart from my management research competence, I have a background in manufacturing manufacturing, Information Systems and Law. I want to branch into management consultancy profession. I have done some BPI/change management work for the public and commercial sectors, and am currently engaged in freelance consulting project in benchmarking performance and improvement within the automotive component supply.

I am flexible and willing to take a junior consultancy role to break into the profession. Can anyone help or advise as to how I should progress, and are there any small/niche consultancies out there looking for a Business Process Improvement specialist, with research and project skills.(My personal project experience is an evidence of my capabilities).

Dr Andrew Lee

Hi there,

Have you heard of an organisation called PERA. It is based in Melton Mowbray and is a semi-governmental organisation which consults on manufacturing and business issues. They sound like just the ticket for you. Their web-site is www.pera.co.uk I work for a biotechnology consultancy based in one of their incubator units, and can heartily recommend not being in the stink-hole that is London.

Cheers,

Andrew.
