Try "good to great" by Jim Collins, one of the best management books of the past 25 years.

For a healthy dose of reality try Phil Rosenzweig's "The Halo Effect" which includes an analysis of what happened next at those built to last companies.

All new and aspiring consultants should read "House of Lies". It is a very different book to the Showtime series, and the real life Marty is a great guy with little resemblance to Don Cheadle
