I think so. It is a huge company with multiple layers of organisation, they do a huge variety of work. The right work will not fall into your lap though, you have to be pro-active in figuring out where you want to be.
There is a lot of negativity on this board but I think a lot if that is from people doing pretty low level stuff within BSI (Systems Integration) within a market group they have no particular interest in.
There are plenty of interesting opportunities within the market groups themselves and in the OG agnostic (not aligned to a specific market) areas (technology strategy, marketing sciences etc...).
The new UK boss David Thomlinson has pretty much sorted out the pay issues and has brought in more March promotions...so rewards and prospects for progression have improved greatly over the last year.
Of course, you could end up writing test scripts for some siebel implementaiotn for 2 years....you have to market yourself internally to get the best from it.
