I am interested in working for the consulting part of Shell, Shell GS. Does anyone have contacts there, which I might use? Or good advice on how to apply to global firms without going through an anonymous website?

Shell hired HORDES of consultants early in 2002 - last time I heard they were stacked full, and not considering hiring more until 2003 (which, of course, is nearly upon us).

Hi Tina,

Sorry for my late reply. I have not been able to turn up any new contacts there, but Try Monster.co.uk for oil/gas jobs - they have a special section. Do you know any where in the world where the need people with over 5 years consulting experience in downstream oil? - and special focus on petrol station retail issues? Good luck to you to.

Hello, I hope you are well

Did you join Shell through the graduate programme? I ask because I have a Shell Recuitment Day coming up in the near future. How would you advice me to best prepare for it? Is it very difficult?
