I'm currently in the employ of IBM, and I can tell you for nowt, that Southbank is minger central.
There used to be a cute South African girl here, but she left last year after she was caught at it with one of the APs.
Try People & Change @ Deloitte Consulting. HR consulting is majority female.
IBM Southbank may be bad but I'm at E&Y More London Place and can't imagine anything worse.
P.S. This should be open to comments on both sexes. Everyone has an equal right to be treated like meat after all. BCG has some rugby hunks if that's what floats your boat.
change management...very hot chicks...they can change! ;)
Yeah, they can change into bitter and vindictive 40-year olds which is who I work with in our change practice.
Looks are all good and well, but "cute" for me = having a brain and more conversational ability than "if you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be?".
A bunny, they're my favourite!
At last an interesting thread :-)
I work at a HO location for a bank where the call centre is on-site. That's where the cutest girls work...not necessarily the classiest however!
You're all working in the wrong sectors. Marketing, advertising and pr. Such rich pickings compared to consultancy.
There's nothing better than a cute, SMART girl in a nice black/gray business suite!! haha. :) From what I've seen, a lot to see in Marketing, some IT Consulting, and PR. I agree Change Management, too. Go figure.... ;)
Is it wise giving cute girls jobs? Surely they'll spend all day talking about Eastenders?
People & Change @ Deloitte - without a doubt - 90% women
I work for a construction consultancy - You are all very lucky men... Not a pair of tits in sight in this office - Far too much c0ck for a balanced working environment.
Well Gutted, maybe I can help! I am looking to join the construction consultancy business. Any tips? Where can I find you?
People, it's not the group that you aligned to that is important, but the sector/industry that you are aligned to!
I remember my very first client. Working for a retail client, in their head office. We were working slap bang in the middle of a floor, full of buyers. You guessed, it full of hot totty and in the middle was us 5 blokes from the Consulting firm. The highlight was one week when the girls wanted to use our meeting room to showcase the collection for the following year. So we had models (some almost half-naked) coming back and forth all week. Happy days! I still look back on those care free days as a young impressionable Consultant with envy! I thought at that time, I had the best job in the world. Needless to say, it's been downhill ever since! :-)
Apologies to those who are aligned to telecoms!

Some of the POC girls in PA are real cuties, but as cold as ice.
Think 101 Dalmations ... think a young Cruella De Vil ...
Yes, but doesn't that just make you want to put them over your knee and give them a thorough spanking to sort their ideas out???
''Business Suite''????
I'd agree that cute has to include the ability to hold down a decent conversation.
But yes, my current place is crawling with women in the ''people'' area.
Having studied psychology at uni in a class with 80 girls and 10 guys, it doesn't surprise me change and HP etc. has a lot of women.
I could rarely concentrate for very long in class!
Women are great aren't they? Granted, the uglier ones aren't as much fun but on the whole they are great. Well done women.
Lol. Last post was mildly amusing.
Well good on you. No point in dropping your salary by being one in the week.
I'll have you know that I make more on the weekends.
You are awful. But I like you
The POC girls are delighted to be both cute and icy. But wonder which of us blew out an IT consultant recently to inspire the salute
Cute and Icy is good though, adds a certain piquant something.
Deloitte (People & Change), Deloitte (Enterprise Applications), Deloitte (Operations). In that order.
Now that we've established that the cutest girls work at Deloitte's P&C practice - where are all the hottest hunks?
Best hunks are in Deloitte TI
I agree. They're also a lot more approachable than the guys over here, who are just so full of themselves.
What do you think about a website with the top ten places listed, in order, each with a picture of a cute girl consulting - you know presenting, thinking and providing solutions to client problems?
shame, did the AP stay? I didn't think SBK had such an atmosphere for amorous goings on
Can you believe how un PC this thread is ? :-) so much so I thought it needed resurrecting and updating for 2014
France. And you get a kiss when they come into the office in the morning. Though as I soon learned, it's 'no tongues'.

Within the crusty world of consultancy and banking there is a slight spike in Docklands, which may in fact be largely down to expensive tailoring. Other than that I'd have to say neither industry is a smart investment for a young chap wishing to be surrounded by attractive ladies with anything interesting to say.
It does make you wonder, eh? Given there is nothing sexist about physical attraction (the birds do, the bees do it, etc) I wonder if either a chap or lass has ever sat down and thought - "I fancy working in XYZ - then I'll be surrounded by gorgeous people all day".
Feeling wistful now.......
It shows considerable naivete to pose this as a serious question. OF COURSE people (of both sexes) have done that.
I know at least 2 guys working at L'Oreal for that very reason. I say "at least", because only two of the several guys I know who work there have admitted it to me.
Their reasoning is difficult to fault, and easy to relate to. If I take the one in Finance, for example, salaries and career progression opportunities being equal, it matters little what industry he's in for professional reasons. Nothing makes him happier than getting with beautiful women.... The choice becomes a no-brainer.
In most MC places I've worked, it's been quite difficult to tell the difference between the men and the women! Truthfully, there seems to be something about this sector that attracts weedy men and fierce women.
