KM Possibilities

My first post here, so hello everyone.

I am a Knowledge Management (KM) Practitioner, focusing on strategic development and implementation. Currently seeking a senior position in private or public sector. Talking about sectors, public organisations are most certainly taking KM very seriously at present and starting to employ KM specific roles. So I am hoping such a public body would be interested in my skills, however, I would like to explore all possible areas. So, if anyone has some contact details, or know of organisation that want too or are currently developing KM solutions, I would be delighted to get any information. I am also keen to work within a consultancy unit (have 3 years consultancy experience) that a KM practice or wish to develop one.

Hi Dilip! I myself am interested in breaking into the KM field. While I unfortunately don't have any information to share, I am also trying to hunt down public corporations that are getting serious about KM. Since I dont have KM exepriece yet - I'm wondering if I might email you (or you me), to learn more about this practice, the skills required, what it takes to be successful, career paths, etc?

I'd appreciate any insight you could provide...and thanks!
