Routes into strategy consultancy for a graduate

#1 Routes into strategy consultancy for a graduate

WhatToDo

Hi all.

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Birmingham, 2:1 in Money, Banking and Finance.

After doing lots of research into investment banking, I realise I really have no interest in it except the huge money some get paid.

My interest lay more in the running of business. I have a small amount of experience, I ran a small website before selling it to IG Group.

Anyway, I was wondering the best ways to get into strategy consultancy. I have missed all the grad schemes for this year. So do I try to get a job where I am offered the opportunity to study for an ACCA or ACA or something completely different?

Any help or ideas are most appreciated.

Thanks

J-
