I graduated with a First from Bristol in Aero. Engineering and since then have spent the last three years abroad. The last two in particular have been managing operations and staff for a humanitarian agency in Africa. (The role was also high in improving and troubleshooting roles).
At the moment, since I have little relevant experience, I am applying to various Strategy firms at the graduate level. I would imagine that a recruitment agency would therefore be unlikely to help me since firms could basically do their own recruitment at this low level. However someone I met last night recommended I get on the books of some, since even if Strat. firms don't advertise with them for new recruits, they can send my CV around for things I might not be able to find.
Is this true? And if so are there any recruitment firms in particular you might be able to recommend for someone like myself?
Many thanks, Dave
