Preparing for consultanci/vs with the likes of ADL, BAH. looking to buff up on case study questions which I know both are keen on. Anybody recommend any books/sites? I have been recommended Case In Point by Marc Cosentino but cannot locate a copy anywhere in UK and it will take 2-4 weeks from the US. Does anybody know where I can get hold of one or does anybody have a copy to sell/lend?

I went for the following alternative. Found it useful, many examples. Best advice is to get someone to practice with.
Book - Vault Guide to the Case Interview
Good luck

Would agree with above. Vault case study guide is a very good book. Some quite difficult case studies but it makes it alot easier when you come to the real thing.

I run an online workshop (ie. you tune in from home) on the subject of how to ace a case study interview. Only a handful of readers on each workshop and we run through case study examples in great detail. Feedback to date has been very positive, with participants confirming it's helped them with interviews at many of the leading firms. If of interest, see:

Cosentino's book is the best. You can buy a 2nd hand copy from amazon and it should arrive sooner than a new one. Or try other online bookshops. The Valut book is only relevant for graduate recruiting in my opinion.

tony,
checked out the link but not clear on the format. how does the session work?
|
Jas - that's interesting feedback, will have to review the page to see how we can make this clearer.
The format: we use a webconferencing facility to deliver the presentation over the internet, so you listen in to the presentation as if you were actually in the room. And it's interactive, so everyone on the webconference gets to ask their questions during the course of the presentation and the example case study questions. Duration is 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on how many questions you have.
Hope to see you on one of the next webconferences! Tony
