Consulting opportunities in Brussels?

#1 Consulting opportunities in Brussels?

Tom Tempo to deleted (#0)

I have 6 years experience in strategy consulting in London. I joined as a Analyst, and am now at Manager level. I'm thinking of moving to Brussels for personal reasons, and wondered what consulting opportunities there were for someone who only has basic (i.e. non work) Friench/Dutch skills? Are there any consulting firms in Brussels who would accept english language only applicants? Also, how much lower are net salaries in Brussels? Thanks in advance..

stripes to Tom Tempo (#1)

I worked out there many many moons ago for PwC (pre-IBM) in Brussels with the Belgian organisation. As in most other Francophone countries, MC in Brussels isn't as big business as it is in the English speaking world, so opportunities are fewer, and tend to be low paid.

That's my personal experience in any case, but be warned - it is almost 10 years old !! Perhaps others may have more current (and hopefully more positive) views !!

Really enjoyed my time in Brussels though - a real party city, and so easy to get anywhere.
