Independent Consultants - What services would you like us to add?

If any independent consultants or start-up firms have any ideas of services that you would like us to provide on Top-Consultant, please let us know through this forum posting. The site has some very good articles which are of great interest. They are hidden in the 'Gurus' Page. Can they be placed in a more obvious position on the home page

There are plenty of sites that offer services for interim management, but very few that are geared up for independent consultants. If Top-Consultant wants to offer more to independents then the following would be useful: 1. A forum on a separate page for independents. 2. A directory of independent consultants. Promotion by Top-Consultant (funded by subscription?) could be of value. 3. A page for independents seeking people for projects. Rather than use a discussion forum format this would be better being form / active server page based, and hence could be kept topical. 4. A page of useful information / links for independents, covering topics such as IR35 (arrrhhhh!). I hope this helps. Alv Hill alv.hill@envistion.biz www.envistion.biz

Two thoughts come to mind:

1 Make the messages easier to read - the small white font on a blue background plays havoc with my eyes, and for the same reason I don't get any benefit from the choice of images for a reply.

2 (Interest declared up front!) As well as the articles available, how about a list of web sites offering advice (and even software!) which may be of use to consultants.

networking is fine...but it does not put you in the right place at the right time!- you just lose time to do reserch and contact clients directly.

I admire the aeroapsce/aeronautics alliance for Ireland that calls itself consortium, whilst all otehrs int he UK are just allaince- this is strategy focus!

Any one knows of good websites/ news for list of projects preferably free! unless a bid is successful- we all have to make money somewhere.
