Mckinsey hire phds, as long as your prior academics are nice and good - like 4 A's, 1st class honours in something sensible like maths, english, or joint maths and english like our learned friend Darwin.

Otherwise, join the queue - Accenture will call your number eventually.

Well, for starters, tell them you HAVE a PhD in statistics. Last time I checked, the big firms don't hire parchment, though they are pretty dry...
