I GRADUATED IN MSc IN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT FROM MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY,

MY PROBLEM IS JUST AS MY FIRST DEGREE I SELF-FUNDED MYSELF BY DOING CASUAL JOBS. NOW I WANT TO JOIN THE BIG CONSULTANCY FIRMS, THE QUESTION IS HOW DO I PRESENT MY CV TO TAKE CARE OF THE 3-4 YEARS THAT I WAS DOING CASUAL JOBS TO FUND MY MASTERS' PROGRAM

Did you do the casual work during your degree?

If so, then it's something in your favour - even in the humblest of casual work there are skills which can be demonstrated - one for example is balancing your personal finances and time: shows great organisation ability.

Out of interest, did you take your MSc at the IDPM? If so, how did you find it?

Is there any particular reason for moving away from the development arena? I would have thought your degree would be ideal for getting into smaller niche development consultancies, rather than the big all-in-one firms.
