Hi all, I have jsut been offered a position at EY's new advisory practice. What do you think? Is it a good choice for one in his early phases of career?

John - congratulations first and foremost. Had you seen Mick James did an interview with E&Y only a week ago. Could provide you with some good insights:

Ernst & Young have a well-respected brand in the marketplace, you could potentially move into banking or another consultancy if you've got experience with them on your CV - and of course they are looking to build this area of the business pretty quickly and that in itself means considerable opportunities for career progression - so you may just choose to stay there for the long haul.
